Florida Private Investigators – Experience is the Key

Florida Private Investigators – Experience is the Key

with No Comments

With over 25 years conducting investigations, I have come across some very shady and incompetent private investigators.  As in every profession, there are some bad eggs.  Believe me, bad private investigators are in the minority with all the good ones.  When selecting a Private Investigator, ask questions…not just their rates.  You get what you pay for.  If you want an experienced and extremely competent investigator, you may have to pay more.  EXPERIENCE COUNTS.

In the state of Florida, we have strict guidelines on obtaining a PI license.  If you have prior investigative experience (law enforcement), you need to only pass the state exam to obtain the license.  With no experience, you have to enroll and successfully complete a comprehensive intern class and pass the exams.  With an intern license, one can work for an agency as an investigator.  Interns must complete 2 years of fulltime investigative work to obtain their full PI license (Class “C”).

Be smart when researching investigators in Florida.  Search the Florida Division of Licensing to make sure they are licensed.  Beware of Craigslist advertisement.  Only call the advertisement of one that posts their Florida Agency License Number in the listing.

We as professional investigators take our work very seriously and we strive for excellence with the utmost integrity.

Ask questions about your specific needs.  Some Investigators have specialized services, such as, Surveillance, Background Investigations, Skip tracing, or Criminal Investigations, or an Accident Investigation.

If you are in need of services in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Tampa, or anywhere in Florida, contact a professional investigator.
