MILLBURN, N.J. – A violent New Jersey home invasion and robbery was caught on tape.
Footage from a nanny cam shows the young mother being beaten in front of her 3-year-old daughter as the child uses a pillow to cover her face.
The mother, who is not being identified, says she made a snap decision not to fight back to keep the violent attention focused on her in an effort to protect her daughter and 18-month-old son, who was upstairs. Click Image to Watch Video
Authorities say the home invader entered the Millburn house and, unprovoked, began punching, kicking and throwing the woman around the room.
Police say he threw about 16 punches before the 200-pound attacker stopped beating the woman and threw her down the cellar stairs. He did not touch the children, but stole jewelry and the woman’s wedding ring.
The woman suffered numerous facial injuries and a concussion.
The victim insisted that the video be made public because she says this man is dangerous and must be caught.
